I believe this grill was only six months (griddle for technical readers) it was subject to a recall campaign to have the conduit/wiring harness replaced. The element inside of the platen shorted out. For some reason today, I was a bit more clumsier than normal, tools sprouted legs and walked off the job… sometimes all you can do is take a couple steps back and laugh. Now I have to return and replace the solid state relay board. This new platnum is referred to as hatchless. There is no inspection port. It’s all one piece. Of course the maintenance guy wanted to know what I was gonna do with the old one lol

Dude…… I get it, you work there, but….. That should be reported …

Absolutely disgusting. Looks like they do those floors under the equipment maybe once a month, and the rest even less often

  3. Some of that looks like it’s achieved consciousness

You know that anyone can make anonymous complaints to the health department? You don’t have to be an employee

  5. yo can we ban mcdonald’s posts tho? i wanna keep eating there…

  6. good lord they must not clean their equipment for jack shit at McDonald’s

I worked 8 years for a franchisee doing the building maintenance/construction side. I salute you sir. That job blows at times. Also… those newer Taylor ice cream machines are total garbage and if you want a sure fire way to produce diarrhea then grab a shake.

  8. Still to end up with a cold or messed up order.

I’m convinced that every grill looks like this someone please prove me wrong 💐

i forget which comedian, but he always eats at McD when he’s on the road. The rationale is that you can’t get sick because McD’s so consistent in their corporate dictated processes for franchises. I guess this shatters that illusion

Drop a line to corporate. They will come down on that shit hard.

Does McDonald’s use porters? I remember back in the day BK used them, they were responsible for taking apart and deep cleaning the broiler along with the fryers.

Take this down. You will easily loose your job if this goes viral.

Those platens are filthy, procedures are supposed to be cleaned at the end of every night.

    🤮

Jesus Christ you guys. I used to work cleaning/maintenance overnight for McD’s we cleaned that shit every night.

It was the weirdest job. 2 guys 11-7 no food handling. Paid 7.50 when minimum wage was 3.50

  18. Elysium137

And this is why I do not eat out. Overpriced medicore food that is prepared in a filthy environment because the owners are either trying to cut corners or are completely inept, usually it is both. It would be one thing if this was irregular, but I guarantee you find something similar in 9/10 restaurants. People keep coming back though, they keep coming back.

You deserve better gloves. Its like you’re wearing a plastics bag or saran wrap

  20. Character-Junket-776

Invest in some better gloves. The job will be easier and cleaner.
